The Diversity of Chilean Art Song in Vienna

The SIMUC brought The Diversity of Chilean Art Song to Vienna. Chilean singer Ilse Simpfendorfer and pianist Karen Villegas presented a repertoire of Chilean art song by composers born between 1903 and 1980 with traditional Chilean, classic, romantic and contemporary music, as well as children's songs and mapuche music. After the concert a special Chilean buffet was offered, thanks to a collaboration with the Comunidad Chilena en Austria.
